STANDING TALL: A BLOCK PRINTING JOURNEY (NURSERY)
The Nursery students explored the concept of "Standing Lines" through a creative and tactile painting activity on 21 April 2026. Instead of using traditional brushes, the children dipped rectangular blocks into bright paints and pressed them onto their sheets in a deliberate top-to-bottom motion. This "Block Printing" technique allowed the students to physically feel the vertical orientation of the lines as they stamped them onto the paper. The activity was highly effective in building fine motor control and spatial awareness, as the children focused on keeping their "standing lines" straight and tall. It was a joyful session that successfully combined sensory play with the foundational skills needed for early writing.
