ORIENTATION PROGRAMME: TODAY’S LEARNER VS TEACHER

An enriching orientation session on “Today’s Learner vs. Teacher” was organised on 8 August 2026 for the teaching faculty. The session aimed to encourage teachers to reflect on the changing nature of today’s learners and explore ways of making classroom interactions more meaningful and effective.The session was led by Mrs. Simran Sandhu, an Ex-Josephite and former colleague, whose familiarity with the school made the interaction especially warm and engaging. Through her insights and experiences, she encouraged teachers to look beyond the traditional teacher–learner relationship and understand the changing expectations, interests and learning styles of today’s generation.The orientation left the teachers with a simple yet meaningful reminder: when learners change, our approach must evolve too—but the heart of teaching will always remain understanding, guiding and inspiring.
