AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON HIV/AIDS
On 27 August, the students of St. Joseph’s Convent School organised an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign to spread awareness about HIV, its prevention, and the importance of compassion towards people living with HIV/AIDS.Carrying colourful placards and posters with powerful messages such as “Stop HIV, Start Awareness,” “Educate, Prevent, Protect,” and “Say No to Stigma, Say Yes to Support,” the students actively participated in the campaign. Through their messages, they encouraged everyone to learn the facts about HIV and to avoid myths, discrimination, and stigma. The campaign highlighted that awareness, prevention, accurate information, and empathy are essential in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The students’ enthusiastic participation made the programme meaningful and impactful.
