Event Date :
28 Oct, 2022
Description:
SOLARIS 2022, a Youth Parliament was the maiden edition of the event organised by St. Joseph’s School Bathinda on 28 and 29 October 2022. With 226 participants from various schools across Punjab and Harayana, the event became a resounding success.‘SOLARIS’ is a word of Latin origin meaning the sun. The motto for this year’s edition was “Address, Apprise, Arise”. Day 1 of SOLARIS commenced with an exuberant opening ceremony which showcased the cultural diversity of our country. The event was lit up by the presence of the SSP of Malerkotla, Madam Avneet Kaur Sidhu, an ex-Josephite and Arjuna awardee. A reporting press was working throughout the day.The closing ceremony was a joyous event with great performances, like a mime with the theme of “Women's Empowerment”. The organising committee members showcased their dancing skills.SOLARIS 2022 came to an end with the most-awaited event of those two days- the Award Ceremony. The students went home with the memories of these two days carefully preserved in their hearts.
