TRIP TO CHANDIGARH(CLASS VII)

Enjoying an outing with friends feels like medicine for the soul where memories are made for the lifetime. Such memories were created by the students of class 7th when the school took them to a one day tour to Chandigarh. Chandigarh Fun Bonanza was planned to show chhatbir zoo, Pinjore Garden and Rock Garden. Students made fun during the journey to the destination. The first landing place for the Josephites was the Rock Garden. Here the students witnessed the sculptural beauty of the garden and the waterfalls created by the architect Nek Chand. The second destination was Pinjore Garden. It has been renamed as Yadvendra Garden in the memory of Maharaja Yadvendra Singh of the erstwhile Princely state of Patiala. The last destination for the students was Mahindra Chowdhury Zoological park. (Chhatbir zoo) It is a home of a large variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. The students enjoyed the sight of many birds and animals in the electric golf vehicles. It was a treasure trove of wildlife. Such outings are always required which refreshes us, educates us and enhances our experience.
