ORIENTATION ON DRUG MENACE
Go Back
Event Date :
17 Aug, 2023
Description:
On 17th August 2023, a clinical psychologist, Ms. Jasleen Kaur addressed the students of class VIII during their activity periods. She spoke at length about the prevailing drug menace in Bathinda region. She sensitized the students about how to take care of their health and how to stay away from drugs at this adolescent period of their age. She also spoke about salient points in regard to social media, which is having a negative impact on the psyche of the students. She encouraged the children to share their day to day problems with their parents or teachers. Students asked various questions related to the topic and noted down various useful tips in their notebooks. It was indeed a very fruitful and informative interactive session. Ms. Jasleen Kaur who is also an ex-Josephite, could actually come to the level of these kids and could extract out of them their unsaid fears and apprehensions.
