Description: Experiential learning aims to make learning more interactive, participatory, and to develop an in-depth knowledge of the topic. Focusing on this, students of Grade VII C and E were engaged in a wallpaper project centered on the different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Life on Land, etc. After an introductory discussion on these goals, students were divided into groups, with each group tasked with creating a chart for one SDG. Using research, illustrations, and real-life examples, the students depicted the challenges and solutions related to their assigned goal and presented their research. The hands-on approach of designing and presenting the wallpaper helped students gain a deep understanding of the global importance of these SDGs. Students learned to work with peers, share ideas, and negotiate different viewpoints. Such a collaborative environment helps them develop interpersonal skills that are essential in both academic and professional settings.
