 Description: St Joseph's Convent School hosted a captivating annual function titled "Jashan-e- Virasat”, celebrating the rich history of Quila Mubarak Bathinda on November 29th. The event showcased the fort's architectural marvels, historical significance, and cultural heritage through a series of engaging performances and exhibits. Students delved into the lives of prominent figures like Razia Sultan, the first female ruler of Delhi, who was imprisoned within the fort's walls. The event also highlighted the fort's association with the Sikh gurus, particularly Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who visited the site. Through this immersive experience, "Jashn-e- Virasat" not only entertained but also educated the audience about the enduring legacy of Quila Mubarak Bathinda. The chief guest Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda, Mr. Showkat Ahmad Parray and the guest of honour SSP Mrs Amneet Kondal, were truly impressed by the students' knowledge and passion for history.
