In an effort to encourage environmentally responsible habits and support the ongoing campaign against single-use plastics, the Punjab State Pollution Control Board sponsored the distribution of durable jute bags to both faculty members and students on 22nd July 2025. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about sustainable alternatives to plastic and promote everyday practices such as tree plantation, recycling, and energy conservation, as highlighted in the campaign’s key messages.Faculty and students alike welcomed the gesture, marking a positive step toward fostering eco-consciousness within the academic community.
