Description: In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles and responsible decision-making among students, an awareness programme on Drug Abuse and Its Consequences was organized for Classes VIII, IX, and XI, on 3rd November, 2025. The session aimed to educate students about the harmful physical, psychological, and social effects of substance abuse, and to inspire them to make informed choices for their wellbeing. As part of the programme, a series of informative and thought-provoking videos were screened in each class. Following the awareness session, all students took a solemn pledge to stay away from drugs and to act as ambassadors of a drug-free society. The pledge ceremony was conducted with a sense of sincerity and unity, reaffirming the students’ commitment to live responsibly and help others make positive choices. The initiative successfully strengthened students’ understanding of the issue and encouraged them to uphold values of discipline, awareness, and empathy.
